My art began to develop after moving to Bushwick in 2008. The shapes in the surrounding Graffiti dotted streets influenced my abstract pastel art and experimental drawings. The anthropomorphic forms that developed were the bases for the project titled “Amoeba Comic”. The urban environment’s influence is evident in the form and choice of style, comic work.
These creatures which I labeled Amoebas, stand for all human experiences with loneliness, love, change and delight in binging eating, drinking, smoking and having sex.
First edition prints are available for the first time as well as the original work. Prices ranges from 80 for prints to 400 for originals.
